We are looking for a skilled, proactive, and service-oriented Senior Workplace Administrator to join our IT Operations team. This professional will act as a bridge between the user community and Openchip’s Systems and Security teams, ensuring a smooth, secure, and consistent user experience across all workplace platforms and devices.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on and detail-driven, with solid experience managing enterprise-scale environments across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
You will report to the Infrastructure Lead and play a key role in maintaining the operational health, security, and usability of our workplace ecosystem — working in a high-security environment with globally distributed users and a high ratio of contractors.
Beyond daily operations, you will contribute to standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to shape Openchip’s modern, scalable workplace infrastructure.
You will be responsible for:
Acting as the main link between the user community and corporate IT policies.
Coordinating with the HelpDesk team to ensure smooth rollout, adoption, and support of tools and workplace policies.
Working closely with the Systems and Security departments to align infrastructure, compliance, and workplace operations.
Guaranteeing operational excellence and user satisfaction, ensuring an efficient and consistent experience across all devices and platforms.
Owning and deploying workplace policies and applications across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
Supporting the implementation of security measures and compliance requirements within user environments (excluding servers).
Monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing endpoint performance, ensuring scalability and resilience in hybrid and remote setups.
Participating in tool evaluation and rollout projects, providing feedback on usability, performance, and integration with corporate systems.
Contributing to documentation and best practices for workplace standards and device lifecycle management.
Qualifications and technical expertise:
Proven experience managing enterprise environments for Linux and macOS (Windows experience is a plus but not essential).
Demonstrated experience with mass device management across Windows, Linux, and macOS systems.
Hands-on experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) platforms.
Experience managing VDI environments and Citrix solutions.
Prior experience managing large-scale workplace infrastructures in mid to large enterprises.
Desirable certifications: o MD-101: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate o LPIC-1 / LPIC-2 / LPIC-3 (Linux Professional Institute).
Advanced level of English (spoken and written), as it is the daily working language.
