The Role:

At Openchip, you'll play a key role in ensuring our engineering and business teams have the equipment, components and services they need to develop next-generation semiconductor technology.

As a Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator, you will manage and coordinate procurement operations from Purchase Request to Purchase Order, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, funding requirements and applicable regulations. You will also oversee the administrative aspects of logistics and international trade, working closely with suppliers, customs agents and internal teams to ensure materials are delivered efficiently, compliantly and with full traceability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the administrative procurement process, from Purchase Request validation through to Purchase Order issuance.

  • Ensure purchasing documentation complies with company policies, legal requirements and funding obligations.

  • Act as the main point of contact between internal stakeholders to keep purchasing activities moving efficiently.

  • Manage supplier onboarding and qualification processes.

  • Coordinate logistics activities, including order tracking, deliveries, imports, exports and customs documentation.

  • Support compliance with regulations such as dual-use controls, CE, RoHS, REACH and other applicable requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring full traceability and audit readiness.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement and logistics processes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Higher Vocational Training in Administration, Finance or a related field (university degree is a plus).

  • Around 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics, international trade or similar operational roles.

  • Experience coordinating purchasing processes and working with suppliers and multiple internal stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of logistics, customs procedures and regulatory compliance for technological products is highly valued.

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, DocuWare or similar ERP/document management systems is a plus.

  • Highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Intermediate level of English and Spanish; Catalan is a plus.
