Memory Architecture Engineer

About the function 

The Memory Architecture team consists of a multi-disciplinary group focused on architectural aspects of all memories in the SoC and work on potential innovative Non-Von-Neuman Architecture.  

Specifically, team identify the optimum memory micro-architecture choices using performance and power analysis. The team will  identify the architecture guidelines for memory size, parallelism and protocol compliance for the SoC 

Job responsibilities 

As Memory architecture Engineer, you will work with a team of engineers to define architectural aspects of memory integration in a System-on-Chip (SoC) designs. This encompasses cache memories, main memories (Dram, HBM), storage (NVM) and compute in memory (CIM) architecture for IA. You will support memory IP integration in the SoC. 

In this team your responsibility will include, but not limited, to: 

• Support the development of the best Architecture capable of improving PPA (Performance-Power-Area) and integrating the customer needs. 

• Support cache architecture development.  

• Evaluate Dram and HBM instances to optimize SoC.  

• Support development of CIM architectures. 

Skills 

• 5+ years of solid experience in memory IP/SoC design. 

• Solid knowledge of cache system design fundamentals and related tradeoffs.   

• Solid knowledge of memory integration tradeoffs in SoC 

• Solid knowledge of Sram and interface. 

• Solid knowledge of DRAM/HBM and interface.   

• Solid knowledge of NVM.
