We are seeking a proactive, hands-on individual with a strong technical background in IT infrastructure.

You will be responsible for ensuring the level of service of our IT operations, ensuring the scalability and availability of our technology as the company expands.

You’ll report to the IT manager and work in a high-security environment with globally distributed remote users and a high ratio of contractors.

The Role:

  • Lead by example the corporate IT infrastructure Team (4 engineers and growing) for the organization.
  • Be the technical senior engineer in Microsoft, Linux and Networking, and become Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IT Infraestructure for the whole company.
  • Drive the implementation of IT processes designed by the IT Manager and the Cybersecurity Lead.
  • Radical hands-on approach combined with strategic thinking.
  • Take ownership of relationships with the internal system administrators of our different engineering teams across the globe (10 and growing).
  • Work closely with the Cybersecurity Lead and IT manager to ensure alignment with security and corporate strategy.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or related roles, with at least 2 years leading teams
  • Extensive experience managing on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or similar).
  • Proficiency in managing hybrid identity environments (Active Directory, Azure AD, Entra, MS365, SSO, MFA, InTune).
  • Deep understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls, DNS, DHCP).
  • Expertise in server and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Strong knowledge of backup technologies.
  • Familiarity with IT security practices and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
  • Experience in architecture and, managing and deploying IT infrastructure projects end-to-end.
  • Masterty of monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, or similar).
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); international experience is a plus.
  • Certifications (preferred): ITIL, MS Azure solutions architect or administrator, Network Vendor Certifications (Cisco, Palo Alto,...)

  • Strong leadership and ability to mentor junior team members and guide senior engineers.
  • Confidence to make a system administration coadministration model with the internal customer (engineer) work.
  • Team player with strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Individual with a composed and calm demeanor, able to remain level-headed under pressure and approach tasks with a serene and thoughtful attitude.
