Openchip is a European Silicon Engineering Company, headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. We are looking for an outstanding individual with real experience in business development of Network, Telecommunications Service Providers and Telecom Equipment Manufacturers at EMEA level, counting with a proven track record of achievements in this technology space and a good network of business contacts. This person should have a good customer base within the European Union territory and beyond. Ideally the candidate holds a minimum of 3 years of experience on selling silicon-based technologies for Network, either european or global players, including large multinational telecommunications carriers, telecom equipment vendors, and other strategic suppliers in the value chain of telecommunications, based on silicon, artificial intelligence and edge computing. 


The Role:

  • Build and nurture long-term customer relationships: Develop strong, lasting relationships with key customers to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify, manage, and develop growth strategies: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify growth opportunities and develop tailored strategies to enhance our position and drive sustainable growth.
  • Drive product sales through co-innovation with customers: Collaborate with customers to co-innovate  and customized solutions based on our silicon technology, stimulating demand and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies: Define a compelling value proposition and develop and execute go-to-market strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue.
  • Manage and track project execution: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences: Represent the company at industry events to generate leads, build relationships, and stay informed about market trends.



Qualifications and skills

  • A strong engineering background and an MBA will be an asset.
  • The candidate holds a minimum of 3 years of experience on selling silicon-based technologies for Network, either european or global players, including large multinational telecommunications carriers, telecom equipment vendors, and other strategic suppliers in the value chain of telecommunications, based on silicon, artificial intelligence and edge computing. 
  • Fluent in English is a must. Fluent in an additional language of the European Union is a must, preferably German, Spanish, French or Italian. Swedish/Finish will be valued.

  • this person should have the potential to achieve in the future a people manager role.
