The Role:

As the Director of Operations and Execution, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end system deployments, including overseeing subcontracting efforts (e.g., PCB development), coordinating RISC-V datacenter deployments, and ensuring seamless integration of DPUs into our product portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee System Deployment Operations:

- Lead the end-to-end execution of system deployments, including hardware-software integration, testing, and validation for semiconductor-based systems (e.g., RISC-V processors, DPUs).

- Ensure all deployment activities align with company goals and customer requirements.

2. Coordinate Subcontracting and Vendor Management:

- Manage subcontracting efforts for PCB development, component sourcing, and manufacturing partners.

- Negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

3. Project Management and Execution:

- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to deliver projects efficiently.

- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

4. Technical Oversight and Decision-Making:

- Provide technical guidance on complex deployment challenges, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and meet performance requirements.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues related to system integration, testing, and optimization.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with product management, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure smooth transitions from development to deployment.

- Communicate project status updates to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

6. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.

- Implement best practices for project management, vendor coordination, and system deployment workflows.

7. Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, engineers, and project managers to ensure high performance and alignment with company objectives.

- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in operations management, project management, or technical leadership roles within the semiconductor, hardware, or systems engineering industries.

- Proven track record managing large-scale deployments, including PCB development, datacenter infrastructure (e.g., RISC-V processors), and DPU integration.

- Experience overseeing subcontracting efforts, vendor management, and complex supply chains.

- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, hardware design, and system-level integration.

- Familiarity with PCB development, component sourcing, and datacenter infrastructure deployment (e.g., RISC-V architectures).

- Knowledge of DPU architecture and its role in modern computing systems is a plus.

- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).


Soft Skills:

- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage external vendors, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical details to both engineers and executive stakeholders.

- Strong analytical skills for identifying risks, resolving conflicts, and optimizing workflows.

- Strong results-driven, detail-oriented leader to oversee the operational execution and deployment of cutting-edge semiconductor systems.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience managing deployments involving RISC-V processors or other open-source architectures.

- Familiarity with DPU architecture and its integration into semiconductor systems.

- Knowledge of datacenter infrastructure management (DCIM) tools and best practices.

- A proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs in a technical environment.
