The Role:
The mission is is to create a culture and set of practices that enable organizations to deliver better software faster, with higher quality, reliability, and security. A major aspect of this position involves the containerization and optimization of our Continuous Integration (CI) and development environments.
As part of the launch of new strategic projects, we are strengthening our DevOps team. You will join a small, dynamic group of 3 people, responsible for the tools, infrastructure, and methods that support our software development lifecycle, with a strong focus on DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
You will lead or actively contribute to:
• The containerization of CI and development environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• The maintenance and evolution of the development toolchain, including:
o Source code management and review tools (e.g. Gerrit).
o CI/CD infrastructure (Jenkins, Grafana), managing a compute farm of 100+ heterogeneous devices (Linux servers, ARM devices, FPGAs, containers…).
o Bug tracking and project management tools (Jira).
• In-house solutions for:
o Artifact/package management.
o Performance and test result tracking.
o Technical documentation.
• Support for both software and hardware development teams.
• Onboarding and training of new users on tools and best practices.
Required qualifications:
• Proven experience with containerization technologies, especially Kubernetes and Docker.
• Solid knowledge of Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, RedHat).
• Strong DevOps mindset with experience in CI/CD and infrastructure management.
• Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent (BAC+5).
• 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Gerrit, or similar.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby). Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Understanding of package management systems (RPM, DEB).
Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to document processes and train colleagues.
