Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the Team: build, guide and mentor a team of software engineers, architects, AI engineers, MLOps specialists and product owners, encouraging innovation and technical excellence in AI infrastructure.
- Own the Roadmap: Define and manage the development roadmap for the AI platform, ensuring it supports the company’s goals and AI R&D needs. For building this roadmap you will interface with the product team.
- Build the Platform: Design, build, and maintain a scalable, resilient AI platform using best practices in MLOps, automation, security, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Support the ML Lifecycle: Develop platform components for managing data, tracking experiments, distributed training, model deployment, and monitoring—including for advanced systems like multi-agent LLM AI.
- Tooling & Integration: Choose and manage key MLOps tools (e.g., Kubeflow, MLflow, Argo, CI/CD systems, artifact stores, monitoring tools) together with our DevOps team.
- Optimize Resources: Ensure the platform efficiently handles compute resources, scheduling, caching, communication flows and costs for large-scale AI workloads.
- Collaborate with Users: Work closely with internal and external AI researchers and engineers to understand their needs and improve development and deployment workflows.
- Ensure Best Practices: Define and enforce platform security, data governance, and operational excellence together with our AI safety team.
